A welcome drink, followed by tapas to share:

Onigiri Oishii Tamari Zuke (V / NGC)
Onigiri sushi rice seasoned with black sesame salt. Accompanied by tamari-pickled shiitake, edamame yuzu pesto, Shichimi Togarashi crispy onion and pickled ginger.

Jaipur Jonny Brinjal (V / NG)
Makki ki puri – a hot and crispy coconut maize chaat-spiced fritter served on Bengal butter-baked aubergine and hot mango-lime chutney. Topped with coconut yogurt and crunchy chilli-flaked coconut almond clusters.

Better Batter
Soft buttermilk-soaked halloumi dipped in chip shop batter, served with vodka-spiked preserved plum tomato, sea salad tartare, and finished with lemony Yemeni relish. (Vegan & No Gluten Choice: Replaced with Tempura Oyster Mushroom)

Jiao Yau Smoked Tofu (V / NG)
Crispy, deep-fried Szechuan salt and pepper house-smoked tofu, packed with bold, aromatic spices. Served with rich umami miso-pimento chilli sauce and vibrant homemade kimchi.

Zara Soba Salad (V / NG)
Delicate soba noodles tossed with crisp kohlrabi threads and fresh Chinese leaf, coated in a rich miso sesame and ginger dressing. Topped with wasabi-roasted cashews and puffed rice wakame cracker shards dusted with hibiscus, amchur and toasted nori.

Tempura oyster mushroom delicately coated in Shichimi Togarashi nori. Served with Onigiri sushi rice seasoned with black sesame salt, tamari-pickled shiitake, edamame yuzu pesto, crispy Shichimi onion and pickled ginger.

Cauli Klompen Soep & Turnover (NGC)
Cauliflower cheese soup with a hot cumin Gouda pastry turnover. Garnished with toasted brown cheese, mustard seed salt and turmeric.

MAINS

Makki Ki Dhaling (V / NG)
Crispy coconut maize chaat-spiced fritter (Makki ki puri) topped with shredded coconut, coriander and fresh lime. Served with Bengal butter-baked aubergine, curry leaf rainbow chard urad dhal, mango-lime chutney, coconut yogurt and chilli-flaked coconut almond clusters.

Sneaky Peeking Steamers (VC)
Two steamed rice buns filled with Szechuan-marinated halloumi and ginger bok choy, kimchi Chinese cabbage, lapsang souchong pickled watermelon and miso chilli sauce. Vegan Option: Halloumi replaced with Szechuan Mapo (V / NG)

HOW DO I BOOK?

Please book online. Walk-ins are welcome where capacity allows, though booking is advised. Friday evenings and Saturdays are bookable only.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT OR CANCELLATION FEE?

No deposit or pre-payment is required. Card details are required to secure your booking. You can cancel online up to four hours before your reservation. After that, please call 01273 729051. No-shows without notice will be charged £25 per person.

All menu items are subject to availability and may change due to seasonal ingredients or supplier variations. Prices and dishes may be updated without prior notice. Vegan and non-gluten dishes are available. Please contact us in advance about any allergies or dietary requirements. While Terre a Terre takes every care to avoid cross-contamination, all dishes are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy and other allergens.
