Brighton’s OctoberBEST restaurant festival is returning. From 10-25th October 2026, the top restaurants in the city (as compiled by Brighton's Best Restaurants awards) - plus a few newcomers to the fold and some old reliables - will be offering special menus that showcase the diversity of Brighton’s independent restaurants. Prices will range from £15 to £35, with something to suit all budgets and tastes.|

Brighton’s Best Restaurants was established in 2015 by Andy Lynes and some fellow restaurant-obsessed Brighton locals as a new set of awards to celebrate the city’s dynamic dining scene. It aims to bring national and local attention to the city’s new generation of independent restaurants and long-standing dining destinations, which rival any of the country’s première regional offerings.

Based on nominations from Brighton’s Best Restaurants followers and newsletter subscribers, the 2026 awards were judged by an expert culinary panel chaired by Andy Lynes and celebrate the best restaurants in the city.
